Session on How to Improve Working Memory

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a session on “How to Improve Working Memory” on 6th December, 2021. The session was attended by 33 faculty members and 10 non-teaching staff members. The eminent speaker of the session was Dr. Vimla Yadav (Associate Prof. KIIT Group of Institutions.)
The session aimed at imparting learning techniques and strategies to boost working memory, which is the cognitive ability to hold and manipulate information in the mind over a short period of time.
The session began with an introduction to the concept of working memory and its importance in everyday life. The speaker explained how working memory is necessary for tasks such as reading comprehension, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Several techniques and strategies for improving working memory were then discussed.
